About Oboshor and our method
Oboshor is a place near Susunia, with a stay and a restaurant under construction, and Oboshor Journal is its travel publication covering Bankura, Purulia and Jhargram.
We do not invent prices, opening hours, drive distances, ratings or reviews — including about ourselves. Where something has not been checked we say so, with the field named and a review date attached. And because we are building our own rooms, the rule is stated plainly: no circuit or itinerary here is ordered to bring you back to Oboshor, and we take no commission on anyone else’s bookings.
How a page gets published
- Start from an official or primary source and record the link and the date it was checked.
- Field-visit for the things no website can tell you: road surface, parking, toilets, steps, shade and network.
- Attach a checked date and a next-review date to every volatile fact — fees and hours every 90 days in season.
- Publish photographs only with a recorded licence or written permission, credited on the page.
- Write and verify the English master first, then write natural Bengali — never machine translation.
